RetirePath is built on a simple principle: your financial information is yours, and it never leaves your device.
What we collect
Nothing.
RetirePath runs entirely on your device — no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no advertising or cross-app tracking. Every number you enter — your income, budget, portfolio balances, and plans — is stored only on your device, and all calculations run only on your device. The one narrow exception is the optional purchase: if you buy the unlock, limited purchase-validation data is processed as described under Purchases below. It never includes the figures you enter.
What leaves your device
Nothing, unless you explicitly choose to:
- Encrypted backups — you can export an encrypted backup file of your plan. You choose where it goes (your files, your cloud drive, your email). It is encrypted with a PIN only you know; we never see it and could not read it if we did.
- PDF export — you can generate a PDF summary of your plan and share it however you choose.
- Purchase validation — if you buy the optional one-time unlock, limited purchase information is sent to Google Play and to our purchase-management provider, RevenueCat, to confirm and restore it (see Purchases). Your financial figures are never included.
Purchases
Payment for the optional one-time unlock is handled by Google Play (and, on iOS, the App Store). We never see or receive your payment card details.
To confirm your purchase and restore it if you reinstall the app or switch devices, RetirePath uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service provided by RevenueCat, Inc. When you buy or restore, RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous identifier, your purchase receipt, and basic technical information — device model, operating system version, app version, and an approximate country derived from your IP address. This information is used only to validate and manage your purchase, never for advertising, and we never send RevenueCat your name, email, or any figures you enter into the app. RevenueCat's practices are described in its privacy policy. To request deletion of this purchase data, email us at the address in the Contact section below.
Permissions
RetirePath requests no special permissions beyond what's needed to save or open backup files you explicitly create or select.
Children
RetirePath is a retirement-planning tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Because the app collects so little, we expect changes to be rare.
